Jeffrey A. Johnson is a sports reporter for the York Dispatch. He discovered his passion for writing when he was 13 after authoring a 500-word letter of resignation from his local Boy Scout Troop and delivering it to his scoutmaster (his father) at breakfast one morning before school. He remembers the most valuable player of the 1995 World Series but just two years ago he forgot his own mother’s birthday.
Bizarrely, as a Connecticut native, he roots passionately for the Atlanta Braves and Dallas Cowboys, and will adamantly argue that the 2003 Syracuse Orangemen are the greatest college basketball champion of all-time. He hopes this blog will create a forum to discuss issues involving the York Revolution.
